Mr Michael Ward

Mr Bryan Magee

Mr Stanley Cohen Mr Bruce Grocott

No. 60

That this House is disturbed to learn of the existence of an organisation which is concerned solely with the re-introduction of the death penalty; it believes that, whatever the arguments about deterrents, crime and the ethics of capital punishment, it cannot be healthy for a group of people to dedicate themselves to the return of hanging as their objective in life.

As Amendments to Mr Arthur Latham's proposed Motion (Those Longing for Hanging):

Mr Kenneth Warren

Mr, Philip Goodhart

Mr Evelyn King

Mr Fred Silvester
