I should perhaps report that the Attorney General tells

me that she has heard a news item on Radio Antilles to the

effect that the UN Secretariat has been given an assurance

by the UK Government, that there will be no more executions

in the UK Dependent Territories.

Since the matter is one which attracts a certain amount

of interest in the BVI, I should be grateful for any background

information there may be.
