We have indeed invited a representative from the Commonwealth Secretariat and the other suggestions will be most useful in filling gaps made by refusals we shall certainly receive.

I enclose a list of the academics who have accepted (Messrs Newbury and Read are both out of the country at the moment) and will keep you informed on progress.
