Thank you for your letter dated 23rd August regarding the Seminar on the future of Britain's remaining dependent territories. Unfortunately, since I spoke to you on the telephone, I have discovered a meeting for 25th September which I have been unable to re-arrange. Therefore, I regret that I will be unable to attend.

However, I am pleased to see that WITAG (West Indies Trade Advisory Group) will be represented by the Editor of the Caribbean Chronicle, Mr. David Jessop, also a fellow member of that Committee.

I hope the Seminar proves a success.
