(iii) the Governor dispenses with an

investigation in the circumstances set out

in sub-sub-paragraph (ii), no investigation

will be made in respect of the grounds

that the officer has not admitted and he

will not be liable to be punished in respect

of those grounds; and

(iv) the officer makes an admission and

does not request an investigation to be

made, he may submit a written plea in

mitigation.";

(b) by inserting after paragraph (1) the following

"(1A) where

(a) an officer has not admitted in whole

the misconduct, but has admitted in

part the grounds on which it is

proposed to order an investigation; and

(b) the Governor considers that the

admitted grounds amount to misconduct,

the Governor shall, before proceeding under

C.R. 56(4)(a) or C.R. 57(4)(a), inform the

officer that he considers that the admitted

grounds amount to misconduct and that
