TRAINING

:

Knowledge of :-

1. Workshop technology including surface treatment processes, tools, measuring instruments and test equipment.

2. Basic principles of electricity and

chemistry.

3. Engineering science and calculation.

4. Industrial hazards associated with

dangerous or corrosive chemicals and electrical supply and safety precautions to be observed.

5. Relevant sections of the Factories and

Industrial Undertakings Ordinance and subsidiary legislation.

A. Type -

4-year organized craft apprenticeship or 3-year organized craft apprenticeship if preceded by a relevant one-year full-time basic craft (apprenticeship) course or a 3-year course in a prevocational school, with attendance at a relevant part-time day-release or block-release craft course in a technical institute.

B. Entry Requirements :-

1. Age

: Minimum 15 years

2. Minimum Education : Form II
