PEGISTRY Action Taken

1. Before he left Peter was kind enough to send me with his personal and confidential letter of 13 March, a copy of the record of my final meeting with His Excellency, the Governor on 2 March.

2. There is just one point of detail I must mention. This relates to paragraph 6 of the cord. I made the point that I did not meet the Association representing steno-audio typists: neither did I meet the Hong Kong Chinese Civil Servants Association. In fact I met only the Association of Expatriate Civil Servants of Hong Kong and the Senior Non-Expatriate Officers Association.

3. Paragraph 5 of the record refers to His Excelleny's intention to write to Mr Heppell and to let me have a copy of his letter. I have not yet received this and wonder if His Excellency has in fact written to Mr Heppell.
