Dear Arthur hatham,
I have received the enclosed letter from Miss So Choi-lin (Miss Vivien So ), chairman of the Hong Kong Government Shorthand-Audio Typists Association, who you will recall meeting during their visit to London in January.
In these circumstances, it would be greatly apprecaited if their case could be re-opened, as it were, with Lord Goronwy Roberts at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
I hope, very much, that you will be able to help.
Perhaps you could let our sisters from Hong Kong or myself - know of any action you are able to take on their behalf, please.
I am sending a letter in similar terms to other Members of Parliament and leading Trade Unionists who our friends met during their visit to this country.
ours sincerely,
Bhul Blen.
John II Bloom
