Report by the Chairman of the S.A.T. Unit on the Govern- ment proposed restructuring of the Grade
That the Chairman suggested we should adopt the Govern- ment's proposals for restructuring the Grade first. Details should be discussed in later regular meetings.
Acceptance/refusal of the Government proposed restructuring of the Grade and suggestions
Secret ballot showed strong opposition i.e. 106:6. Hence the Government's proposals for restructuring was considered as not acceptable.
Outvote the present S.A.T. Chairman
The then Chairman was outvoted by a secret ballot which showed 104:2.
Election of new Executive Committee
(i) The number of the Committee Members had increased
from 9 to 11 in order to provide sufficient manpower to carry on the painstaking job on restructuring of the Grade.
