Personal Secretaries who:

(i)

have at least five years' Government service as a Personal Secretary may be considered for promotion to Senior Personal Secretary; or

(ii) (a) have at least three years' Government service;

(b) are judged to have potential to supervise

and give on-the-job training to Typists and Stenographers;

may be considered for appointment to Supervisor of Typing Services.

Increments may be granted either on first appointment' or during an officer's service as follows:

(a) one additional increment for a shorthand speed

of 130 w.p.m.;

and/or

(b) one additional increment for a typing speed of

70 w.p.m.
