On 12 January 1978, an operation was mounted by Customs and Excise Service officers in co-ordina- tion with United States Drug Enforcement Agents. As a result 15.565 kilos of No 3 heroin was seized. During the operation a Chinese female CHING Man-lee (6929/2581/5461) was arrested whilst her accomplice Chinese male LEUNG Wing-fu (2733/3057/1381) escaped after a violent struggle.
