RE: YOUR PROJECT NO KH11(3) & DRAWING #KH 1176. RE: THE WIDENING AND REALIGNMENT OF THAT PORTION OF JUNCTION ROAD AND FOOTPATHS ON ITS BOTH SIDES FROM TUNG TAU TSUEN ROAD TO LOK FU GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SHOOL.

RE: OUR LOT NO.C.L.P. K-2064.

On 5th December, 1977, we visited the City District Office (Kowloon- City) and were told by an officer, Mr.Chan Kin Ying that part of our structure adjacent to our building within the dotted line would be affected due to the widening of footpath.

We wish to appeal to you against your decision as the following grounds:- 1. You may kindly note that the present Junction Road is a four lanes carriageway beginning from the joining of Prince Edward Road up to our house. The width of the Road in front of our building is 34 ft. The pavement in front of our structure is 12% ft. wide between the dotted line and the pavement curb. Please see on the map (copied from the Nathan Road Government Offices) which is enclosed herewith for your reference, and that the pavement where along the wall of Mun Sang College is only 9 ft. wide. So we can not see any reasons why part of our structure would be affected.

2. Please be also informed that the structure within the dotted line has been existing for seventeen years since 1960, and has been investigated, measured and approved. Our surveyed number is RK/7C/ 356A Shop by the former Resettlement Department.

3. Please be good enough to understand that our structure where we

are operating our business is the only source of our income to support our whole family. No doubt we will be driven to poverty if this only mean of living is being deprived.

With the above mentioned reasons, we are humbly to request your kind and sympathetic reconsideration to readjust your plan so that our structure is not affected in your road widening project.

Thanking you in advance for your very kind assistance and awaiting your favourable reply soon,

Yours most respectfully, ;

TUNG LEE SHING STORE
