Clause 8 makes it an offence for any person to
make a false statement or to provide false information in
respect of any matter relating to the purchase of land..
The new section 29A in clause 9 specifies the
time within which proceedings in respect of offences
under the principal Ordinance may be brought.
Clauses 10, 11 and 12 make consequential
amendments to the principal Ordinance.
Section 41(1)(aa) of the Buildings Ordinance
exempts the application of that Ordinance to buildings
upon any land vested in the Housing Authority or over which the Authority has control or management. amendment in clause 13 makes such exemption subject to
the new subsections in clause 5.
