30. (a)

A library grant shall be paid half-yearly in

advance, The amount of grant shall normally

bo assessed on approved enrolment at the rates

shown at Appendix 9.

Any surplus in the library grant account shall

be carried forward and accumulated from year

to year in that account, to be treated as a reserve (see section 12).

Administration Grant and Janitor Staff/Cleaning Grant

31. (a) An administration grant to enable schools to

employ administrative staff to meet their specific needs, and a janitor staff/cleaning

grant, shall be paid monthly in advance.

The amount of grant shall normally be assessed

on approved enrolment at the rates shown at Appendix 9. The janitor staff/cleaning grant

may be used for the employment of janitor staff,

or for the cleaning of the school premises by

contract, or both.

The management committee of a school granted

be responsible for the appointment, dismissal,

salaries and terms of service of cumi nistrative

The management committee of a school shall, on

the appointment of any person to the administra-

tive or janitor staff of the school, notify

rector of the name of such person.
