Code of Aid for Secondary Schools

INTRODUCTION

Purpose of the Code.

I

1.

(a)

Interpretation.

This Code of Aid prescribes the rules and

conditions in accordance with which the

Government of Hong Kong promotes education by means of grants to such secondary schools as may be approved for this purpose by the Director of Educati on.

(b) In this Code of Aid, "Government" means the

Government of Hong Kong; "Director" means

II. GRAIT OF AID

4. The kinds of grant necessary to cover the normal expenditure of a school shall be calculated in such a way that such grants together with the income from tuition fees, normally the standard fees, should in general be sufficient to enable an aided secondary school to provide education of a standard acceptable to the Director, subject to the provisions of this Code of Aid.
