In Laos, as you know, we have been helping in the return

and rehabilitation cf internally displaced persons. I believe

our efforts have contributed to giving them a fresh start. This

is important, not least because of the inter-relationships in the

area. With this in mind, we wish to encourage, together with

other agencies of the U.N. system, further projects in areas where

the restoration of productive activity would contribute towards

the well-being of the arca at large. Further, in my conversations
