Before providing the information, you might find it necessary to refer our request to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London. We merely make this observation as it has been our experience that on certain occasions the Government of Hong Kong has not provided us directly the information we had requested as such information should have been requested through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London. You might wish to review this matter with Mr. J.N. Henderson, the Commissioner for Labour, Labour Department, Hong Kong.
