in regulations 20, 21 and 22 relate to the carriage

of arms and other goods on the railway.

The new regulation 4A in regulation 3, which

was previously section 32 of the principal Ordinance,

seeks to secure that all persons travelling on the

railway pay the fare in advance, unless exempted from

the payment of fare. The amendment in regulation 5

follows section 33 of the principal Ordinance which

has been repealed.

The amendments in regulations

2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 relate to fares and

tickets.

These amendments modify and up-date the

present provisions.
