Explanatory Note

These regulations make the necessary

consequential amendments to the principal regulations

as a result of the recent amendment of the principal Ordinance (regulations 1, 13, 23, 24 and the Schedule).

The opportunity is also taken to amend those provisions

of the principal regulations which are now out of date (regulation 4) and to make other formal amendments (regulations 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22). The amendments in regulations 16, 17, 18 and 19 control the use of vehicles on railway premises and the amendments
