地下鐵路之整個系統
The Modified Initial System, which is the 15.6km
route now under construction, is depicted in blue. It runs from Chater Station in Central, the heart of Hong Kong Island's business community, to Kwun Tong in South East Kowloon.
The Tsuen Wan Extension, which is a 10.5km
line linking north Nathan Road with the growing
new town of Tsuen Wan, is depicted in grey. Government approved construction of this extension in July 1977 and work on it will begin in October 1978.
Other potential lines completing the Full System recommended by consultants in 1970 but not yet approved by Government are depicted in black.
藍色綫路為「修正早期系統」,全長十五 點六公里,現正在施工之中。此段地下鐵路 由港島商業中心之中環東站起,至九龍東南 部之觀塘止。
灰色綫路爲荃灣支綫,全長十點五公里 將彌敦道北部與發展中之新市鎮荃灣聯接 起來 。
香港政府於一九七七年七月批准興建荃 灣支綫,該支綫之興建工程將於一九七八年 十月動工。
黑色綫路爲一九七零年由顧問工程師提 議,但未經香港政府批准之整個系統中其他 可能興建之路綫。
