6 The agreement contains quotas on cotton and man made fibre.yarn; cotton and man made fibre fabrics; knitted shirts and T-shirts;` pullovers etc; woven and knitted trousers; woven shirts; blouses; cotton terry towelling; gloves; hosiery; coats; suits; jackets; anoraks; handkerchiefs; nightwear; "underwear; dresses; skirts; household linen; knitted track suits and work
clothing. Imports of these items in 1976, the base year for the renewed MFA, were significant enought to warrant quantitative limits.
TIMETABLE
The Council is requested to act on this recommendation before the end of 1978.
