The Commission representative stated that, with regard to certain other products exported by Hong Kong, the problem should quickly be resolved by means of transit certificates of origin; this was not possible in the case of the above-mentioned products, which were subject to quantitative restrictions (');

the Belgian delegation said that, in its view, the problem also arose with category 2 and 3 products.
In view of the consultation scheduled with Hong Kong for 22 and 23 June 1978, the Committee agreed to return to this matter at its next meeting.
(1) Nevertheless, following a statement by the Belgian delegation,
the Commission representative acknowledged that problems could arise in the future with exports of sails, in view of the particular technical characteristics of that product.
