I. PROGRESS OF CURRENT CONSULTATIONS

1. India

The Commission representative told the Committee

of the difficulties encountered during consultations

with India on three traditional folk products. A

compromise solution had been worksu out but the Indian

authorities had not yet given their views on it.

2. Hong Kong

Consultations with Hong Kong were scheduled for

22 and 23 June 1973.

3. Morocco/Tunisia

Since the Moroccan and Tunisian authorities had .

said they were prepared to comply strictly with the undertakings entered into vis-à-vis the Community, the

Commission had invited them to confirm in an official note

the measures which they intended to take in order to observe the agreed export levels and ensure regular forwarding of the relevant export documents to the

Commission.

4. Greece

The Commission should give its opinion shortly on the proposals which its departments have submitted to it in order to ensure that Council Decisions are complied with and to follow up the specific requests made by certain delegations,
