BRIEFING FOR COMMANDER BRITISH FORCES HONG KONG (DESIGNATE)

1.

Major-General R M F REDGRAVE MC will assume the appointment of Commander British Forces (CBF) Hong Kong on 7 April 1978, and will be available for briefing, to be co-ordinated by COSSEC, from Monday 13 to Tuesday 21 March.

2. Major General REDGRAVE has asked that the appropriate briefings should include a meeting with senior Staff of Century House, and it is requested that DMSI(0) make the necessary arrangements. He has asked also for a brief on the complexities of building problems relating to quarters and offices in Hong Kong.

3. Addressees are requested to confirm whether or not their principals would wish to brief CBF Hong Kong (Designate) between 13 and 21 March, stating the length of time they would require, and any inconvenient times.
