MINOR COMMITMENTS

30. The Services in Hong Kong may be given minor commitments outside your area of responsibility in addition to any already delegated by CINCFLEET to the Captain-in-Charge Hong Kong. Detailed guidance on these additional commitments will be

given to you either by the Ministry of Defence or through

the appropriate single-Service authorities. It will be

necessary to obtain Foreign and Commonwealth Office clearance

in each instance for the assumption of these commitments by

you.
