I have written to the Governor to let him know that I hope to spend a few days in Hong Kong on my way back to London at the end of a Pacific tour. I enclose a copy of my itinerary as it stands at present. I shall let you know if there is any change.

Would you mind booking me into an hôtel for the nights of 31 January to 2 February inclusive. I think something on the island would probably be more convenient.
