Progress made and present position
proposed that the section of Trunk Road at Pak Sek Kok Bay be re-aligned. Final decision awaited.
Resumption/clearance of four connected borrow areas is
required.
(a) Borrow area at Chinese University (130,000 sq.ft.).
Resumption of land is in progress.
(b) Torrow area at Whitehead (180,000 sq.ft.). Resumption is
being processed.
(c) Borrow area at St. Christopher's Home (7,000 sq.ft.) (d) Borrow area A clearance of the site required.
Resumption gazetted on 7.7.78. Land will revert to the Crown on 11th August construction work will start end of August.
Next Quarter Targets
(i) Finalization of
alignment in
Phase I.
(ii) Submission of
resumption papers for Phase 11.
Resumption of land to continue.
Clearance of temporary structures (150 houses from River Indus Fumping Station to Ma Moi Ha.
Continue resumptions
Resumptions in North Tsuen Wan proceeding according to plan.
Negotiations continue with villagers most terms now agreed. Continue negotiations
and process resite house details.
