To widen the coverage of non- manual workers by raising the monthly wage ceiling to $5,000.
To provide for power (1) of entry into places of
employment.
(2) to enable regulations for hours of work and overtime to be made under this Ordinance.
(3) to require the posting up
of extracts of labour legislation.
To provide for workmen's compensation for workers suffering from silicosis and asbestosis.
To implement details of the scheme under the Workmen's Compensation (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1978 with regard to medical
examination and assessment.
