A second meeting has been held with representatives of the two power companies to consider the possible ways of connecting the two electricity supply systems.
To discuss further the technical and economic benefits of different degrees of interconnection, and to prepare a
report setting out the conclusions of the working group.

5. Companies law
revision
To carry out the recommendations of the Companies Law Revision Committee as accepted by the Government.
A Bill implementing provisions relating to the protection of minority shareholders has now been enacted. Provisions relating to the registration of charges are being dealt with in the "omnibus" Bill.
The Bill and draft ExCo paper on lost share certificates have been held up pending consideration of representations from the Federation of Share Registrars and revenue aspects.
A full version of the first draft of the "omnibus" Bill for general revision of the ordinance is under consideration.
Action completed.
To finalise and submit to ExCo.
