A higher proportion of the less-educated adults preferred universal suffrage

which is understandable, but the better-educated (those with secondary or

post secondary education) were divided between the two systems. In view of

the low interest towards elected members and disposition to voting among

the less-educated adults there is a big question mark regarding the wisdom

of universal suffrage for Hong Kong at the present moment.
