January
We have

Jaguar for Turkey A possible paper is currently the subject of interdepartmental discussion and, whatever emerges, it is unlikely to be ready for discussion this month.
Gibraltar Dockyard We doubt whether this subject will be ready for discussion in January. We may need to await the outcome of the next meeting between Dr Owen and Sr Oreja, for which no date has yet been fixed.
Diplock Report on Mercenaries We agree with the course of action proposed.
Aid to India We doubt whether we will be ready for a discussion on this in January, particularly since the
issue will be affected by the Prime Minister's visit to India.
February
Brunei We are likely to have something to report by This may be something which could be dealt

We think that "Independence for Dominica" (para 4 of your letter) may be the subject of a paper to DOP in February but again we are not sure that this will need to be taken at a meeting of DOP
