Mr McEntee's present term of office expires on 3 June 1979.

He is 60 on 27 June 1980. As we are now beginning to think towards the next meeting of the Dependent Territories Senior Appointments

Board, which may be early in the New Year, it would be useful to have your views as to his future employment.

2. We need first to know when Mr McEntee reaches notional 60.

Secondly do you have any plans for the remainder of his career or would it be more convenient for your purposes if he remained

in Belize until retirement? If the latter, we should need to

clear with Mr McEntee that he has no objection to an extension

and then clear the extension at the DTSAB meeting.
