Both Mr Duff and Mr Stratton consider that Mr Strong should see his time out. He would not normally be due to leave until the second half of 1981. Now that we are proposing to keep Mr Russell in the Caymans until mid-1980, there is no question of Mr Strong's early move there as suggested by POD. From his most recent letter (apart from grumbles about his allowances) he seems to be settling well into the job.
