VACANCY FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL HONG KONG
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Attorney General is head of a Chambers currently consisting of 115 lawyers who provide the bulk of the Government's legal services, including responsibility for prosecutions, for legal advice, and for law drafting. There is likely to be a substan- tial reorganisation of the Legal Department towards the end of this year under which the present Solicitor General will probably be replaced by three Deputy Attorneys General.
SALARY
At present HK$21,600 per month

This is subject to 15% tax
HOUSING
£28,000 pa
Accommodation is provided and there is a 74% deduction from salary for the rental. It would contain heavy furniture, but the officer appointed would need to provide his own household goods and soft furnishings.
TERMS
A minimum of three years. Secondment from the Civil Service could be arranged.
