DEFINITION OF TERMS
(i) Median
If "X" number of figures are listed in order of size, the median is the (+ 1)th figure 1.0, half the figures are greater than the median and half the figures are smaller than the median.
(ii) Upper quartile
If * number of figures are listed in order of size, the upper quartile is the 4(X + 3)th figure, i.c. one-quarter of the figures are greater than the upper quartile and three-quarters of the figures are smaller than the upper quartile.
