Q.

Have you ever been in any Court before today?

I have been to other Courts.

To give evidence?

No. In respect of Traffic Summonses.

Nothing else?

Several occasions when I was called as a witness at North Kowloon Magistracy.

What sort of case was that?

I witnessed a burglary.

When was that?

Several years ago.

In which district was the burglary?

In Kowloon City.

At time of burglary were you working in Kowloon City?

I happened to walk pasi.

At that time were you working for Ma Hak Shing in Kowloon City?

I was taking a rest. I was not working at that time. What were you doing in Kowloon City there?

I went to work as a substitute worker in a restaurant.

You told us you have been working for Ma Hak Shing in Kowloon City. When was that?

In 1970 or 1971.

And when was this burglary you gave evidence?

I can't remember the date.

You said you worked for a Hak Shing in Kowloon City in 1971 was that the only occasion you worked for him in

1971?

I did not work for him on a permanent basis. I worked on and off because he did not pay me enough and as a result I had to find other job to supplement income.
