SUMMARY OFFENCES ORDINANCE (EXEMPTION FROM

SECTION 13) (No. 6) ORDER 1977

In exercise of the powers conferred by section

13(4) of the Summary Offences Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following order

1. This order may be cited as the Summary Offences Ordinance (Exemption from Section 13) (No. 6) Order 1977.

Exemption. (Cap. 228)

Schedule.

2. Subject to paragraph 3, section 13 of the Ordinance shall not apply to the construction of the

Beacon Hill Tunnel carried out within the areas

specified in the Schedule between the date of the publication of this order in the Gazette and the

31st day of March 1980.

Conditions.

3.

The exemption granted under paragraph 2 is granted subject to the conditions

(a)

that all static plant and equipment shall

be sound reduced to a level of 50 decibels

(dBA) measured at a distance of 50 metres from the plant or equipment;
