The conditions of the tenancy
and the waiver will be
suitably worded to allow Government to re-enter
upon the tenancy area and to cancel the short term waiver should the operator of the park fail to comply with the above-mentioned requirements and other related ordinances.
The zoo shall be run in all respects to the satisfaction
of the Secretary for the
New Territories (who will
be advised by the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries). The respective lessees under the Short Term Tenancy and the Waiver shall conduct and manage the Amusement Park in a lawful and orderly manner so that no act or thing what- ever shall be done which might be a nuisance or be offensive, and in particular, shall not exhibit any adver- tisement or other materials which is offensive to good taste or harmful to public morals.
The existing use of the Children's Section of the Amusement Park must be
continued,
The existing ice skating rink
facility shall be maintained as a permanent facility in the Park.
Note
In accordance with the direction of the Governor in Council, the lease and waiver are initially limited to a term of 5 years. Provided that the park continues to be properly managed, a further term of 5 years will be offered to the owner, at a reassessed rent.
