as premium for Lots Nos.607 and 608 in Demarcation District No.436,

North Tsing Yi and having paid $40,000.00 as deposit and in part

payment of the premium agreed to pay the balance of the said premium

amounting to $360,000.00 and interest at the rate of 5% per annum

by 20 annual instalments of $27,504.00 the first instalment being

payable on or before the 7th day of March, 1964 and the subsequent

instalments on the 7th day of February in each succeeding year. It

is shown to me and exhibited hereto marked "A" and "A-1" a copy each

of the said Memoranda of Agreement.

Your Petitioner was only able to pay up to and including

the 4th instalment of the said premium on 24th January, 1967 and

despite extension of time for the payment of the 5th instalment of

the premium to 7th November, 1968, Your Petitioner was then unable

to pay the 5th or subsequent instalments.

In the letter to Your Petitioner from Mr. J. D. Johnston,

District Officer, Tsuen Wan on 14th January, 1969, Your Petitioner

was informed that due to the non-payment of the outstanding instalment,

the said property would be re-entered by the Crown. It is shown to

me and exhibited hereto marked "B" a copy of the said letter.

On 29th April, 1969, Your Petitioner was informed that a

Memorial of Re-Entry had been registered in the District Land Registry,

Tsuen Wan, New Territories in respect of the said property, with

effect from 7th March, 1969. It is exhibited hereto marked "C" a

copy of the said letter with its enclosure. Your Petitioner hereby.

craves leave to have the time limited for presenting this Petition

extended. Your Petitioner's delay in petitioning Your Excellency

was caused by Your Petitioner's hitherto lack of means in making

good the arrears.

That Your Petitioner is now in possession of quite a number
