HIS EXCELLENCY SIR CRAWFORD MURRAY MACLEHOSE, KNIGHT COMMANDER OF THE MOST DISTINGUISHED ORDER OF SAINT MICHAEL AND SAINT GEORGE, MEMBER OF THE MOST EXCELLENT ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE, GOVERNOR AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE COLONY OF HONG KONG AND ITS DEPENDENCIES AND VICE-ADMIRAL OF THE SAME.

HUMBLY SHEWETH as follows :-

THE HUMBLE PETITION OF Mr. TONG KOW

of Consolidated Salvage and Engineering

Co.

That your Petitioner, was, prior to the Re-Entry by the Crown

on the 7th day of March 1969, the registered owner of Lots Nos.607 and

608 in Demarcation District No.436, North Tsing Yi (hereinafter referred

to as "the said property"). The permitted user of the said property

was ship and boat building and repairing.

2.

By New Grants Nos.4179 and 4180, possession of Lots Nos.607 and

608 respectively were given to Your Petitioner on the 7th day of

February, 1964 and the premises were granted to Your Petitioner for the

residue of a term of 99 years less 3 days commencing from 1st day of

July, 1898 in consideration of Your Petitioner agreeing to pay the sum

of $200,000.00 as premium to the Crown in respect of each of the

aforesaid Lots.

3.

By two Memoranda of Agreement dated 21st February, 1964 made

between Your Petitioner and the Deputy Commissioner, New Territories

for and on behalf of the Crown, Your Petitioner agreed to pay $400,000.co
