12.

That your Humble Petitioner respectfully submits

that his said wedded wife has suffering from untold hardship

and has no means of living at Saigon, Vietnam. He has a duty

to take good care of his beloved wedded wife and by nature he

is entitled, to stay together in the company of his beloved

wedded wife in Hong Kong where your Humble Petitioner has

unreservedly taken it as his permanent home and place of his

domicile.

That your Humble Petitioner now respectfully to

suggest that if permission is given to his wedded wife to enter

this Colony he is prepared to deposit with the Crown in cash

in the sum of Hong Kong Dollars Twenty Thousand (HK$20,000.00)

to ensure that he will register their said marriage which was

previously performed according to Chinese customary rites and

ceremonies with the Registrar of Marriage Registry at the vity

Hall at Victoria of the Registrar General's Department of Hong

Kong. That is to say that their relationship as man and wife

is genuine and not fake.

That your Humble Petitioner further humbly prays

to His Excellency the Governor-in-Council that in the light of

the matters hereinbefore presented, exercise His Excellency

the Governor-in-Council's sole and kind discretion, mercifully

and graciously grant your Humble Petitioner's wedded wife LY

Muoi otherwise known as LI Mui to enter this Colony from Saigon,

Vietnam so as to enable the said couple to live together in

harmony.

15.

That your Humble Petitioner further humbly prays

that he will undertake and guarantee to provide his said wedded wife with full maintenance and accommodation should she be granted

with an entry visa and that your Humble Petitioner further prays

that his said wedded wife's stay in this Colony shall not be

the burden of the local Government.
