9.

That during your Humble Petitioner's subsequent

interview thereafter with the Immigration Officer on appoint-

ment at the Aliens and Commonwealths Section of the Immigration

Department at International Building (15th floor) No.141 Des

Voeux Road, ventral, aforesaid, your Humble Petitioner produced

all relevant documents such as his said marriage certificate

etc. for the said officer's inspection and perusal in support

of his present application. Your Humble Petitioner was then

blamed for discrepancies on two occasions concerning his said

applications and was asked to submit his explanation in writing

which your Humble Petitioner did so and wrote in Chinese similar

to those mentioned in paragraph 7 hereof.

10.

That your Humble Petitioner has been informed by

a letter from the said Directer dated the 29th day of September

1977 (in which your Humble Petitioner received it two days later)

saying that the said Director's decision of refusal still stands,

through your Humble Petitioner's then solicitors, Messrs. M. K.

Lam and Company, Solicitors and Notaries, Hong Kong.

11.

That your Humble Petitioner finds that the said

decision of the said Directer is rather harsh and severe although

your Humble Petitioner has made a mistake in the first instance

in saying that the said LY Muoi otherwise known as LI Mui was

his fiancee and not his wedded wife, in fact and in truth the

said mistake of their marital status was made erroneously under

excitement, nervousness and stress and he humbly swears that he

has no intention whatsoever to deceive the Immigration Officer

it was solely on the ignorance on the part of your Humble

Petitioner. Your Humble Petitioner further prays that he is

a human being and bound to make a mistake but in this case he

has remedied by producing his relevant documents in support

of his present application to prove their relationship.
