12. The junk escape organiser was sentenced to death and was immediately taken away on foot by two FSB personnel to a place behind SHATOU Village. The area was not very far away from the Square and in due course three shots were heard. Later in the day, Source learned from youngsters who went to see the execution that after the latter, the convict's mother was notified and asked to collect her son's body. This she allegedly refused to do on the grounds that her son had wronged the Country and she did not wish to be involved with a criminal. As the authorities could not force the mother to remove the corpse, that evening PSB personnel were said to have buried the body where it fell.
13. The other two accused were sentenced to five and eight years labour reform respectively and were immediately driven away in the same BJ-212 Truck. The gathering then dispersed.

Source recalled that this execution was the first one carried out in SHACHINGHSU since 1963. He personally considered the death sentence a little too harsh.
