IMMIGRATION (AMENDMENT)(NO. 3) REGULATIONS 1977

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 59

of the Immigration Ordinance, the Governor in Council

has made the following regulations

Citation and

commencement.

1. These regulations may be cited as the

Immigration (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 1977 and

shall come into operation on the 1st April 1978.

is amended by deleting "four lights coloured WHITE, RED,

WHITE, RED" and substituting the following

"three lights coloured white"

Explanatory Note

These regulations provide that the immigration

examination signal required to be hoisted by night on a

ship on its arrival in Hong Kong shall be three white

lights displayed in the manner specified in regulation

4(b) of the principal regulations.
