(c) Pok Fu Lam Road Widening
Work on the section between Mount Davis Road and Queen Mary Hospital has begun and is due to be completed in March 1978.

Work on the section between Queen Mary Hos- pital and Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road is due to start this month and be completed in May 1979. Work on the section between the west entrance to the University of Hong Kong and Pokfield Road Bus Terminus is due to start at the be- ginning of 1979 and be completed by the end of 1980.
(d) Pok Fu Lam Road/Connaught Road West Link
(Hill Road Flyover)
The scheme is illustrated on the plan at Annex C and comprises an elevated road along nearly the full length of Hill Road, joining Pok Fu Lam Road next to the Redmond Building and Connaught Road by means of a slip road to be constructed on part of the new Western Reclamation. The scheme will also involve alteration at ground level to the align- ment, level and width of Hill Road. The scheme was proposed as an alternative to the Water Street Flyover discussed in memorandum XCC(75)30 because it will involve only minor property acquisition and will have less severe environmental effects. The gazetting of, and objections to, this scheme are dealt with in paragraphs 9 to 12 of this memorandum. Subject to authorisation of the scheme, work is due to start at the beginning of 1978 and be completed by the end of 1979.
(e) Aberdeen Tunnel
Work has begun and is due to be completed by November 1980.
