PURPOSE

PROGRESS MADE & PRESENT POSITION

To complete land grants to Hong (a) Negotiations are continuing with the

Kong Industrial Estates Provisional Authority.

Provisional Authority on conditions of grant for the estate site at Tai Po. Consideration is also being given to the terms and conditions of the sub- leases. It is hoped to replace the Provisional Authority by a statutory Industrial Estates Corporation in the near future,

NEXT QUARTER TARGETS

(a) Execute land grant

of estate site at Tai Po to Provisionall Authority.

(b) Finalise sub-lease

terms and conditions

(c) Seek P.W.S.C.

approval to works associated with development of the Tai Po site.

(a) Draw up a develop-

ment programme in conjunction with the Provisional Authority for the Yuen Long site.

(e) Seek ExCo's advice whether to proceed with development at Yuen Long.
