PURPOSE

To relocate by mid-1977 Cable & Wireless transmitters from Cape D'Aguilar and C.S.0.S. receivers from Little Sai Wan thereby releasing the areas for other development.

To introduce improvements to the town planning system through amendments to the exist- ing Town Planning Ordinance.

To settle payment of compen- sation for surrendered properties within this year.

The Town Manager and District Officer Tsuen Wan has raised objections to the proposed resite area at Pek Shek Kiu and has proposed an alternative site near Yuen Tun.
