HONG KONG STANDING COMMITTER TO MONITOR THE PLANNING PAPER

1. The Hag Kơng Government have now submitted another batch of quarterly Reports: those for the period 1 February to 30 April 1977.

2. There is no urgency about processing these, since the next meeting of the Standing Committee will not take place for several months. However there is nothing to stop our taking up now any points of interest with the Hong Kong Government and I would be glad therefore to have your comments on the Reports by the end of next month. As before, these should be confined to matters which fall winin the framework of the Planning Paper.
