Experts and consultants were submitted in December 1976. Their recommendations are being implemented.

a) To implement the approved (a) The reports of the Panel of

areas.

the working party on the type of organisation required to inspect and ensure the stability of slope which could affect populated areas.

squatter areas based on an early warning system has been prepared which can be brought into operation when required.

in December 1976. A Special Duties Unit (Geotechnical Control) has been established temporarily in PWD HQ.

(a) Continue imple- menting the approved recom- mendations of the Panel of Experts and consultants.

(b) If circumstances dictate, try out plan of action based on early warning system.

(c) Implement the

approved organisation for inspecting and ensuring the

stability of slopes.
