To provide a phased

programme for major develop- ment projects in the Aberdeen area and to monitor their implementation.

All major projects to be completed by 1935 and the Ap Lei Chau bridge to be completed by April 1979.

Work on the Ap Lei Chau Bridge and northern road connections commenced in July 1977, while work on the southern approach roads is le to commence in August/September 1977. All works are due to be completed by July 1979. A comprehensive informa- tion pamphlet detailing the scope of the various reclamations and development projects planned for Aberdeen is being prepared for publication to give local residents a better grasp of the effect au implications of the proposed works.
